Running

Palin's critics (I'm using the nice word) continue to claim she doesn't have sufficient experience to be vice president, even though she has run her own business, a town, and a state very successfully. Why don't they examine and criticize Obama's executive experience? Because he DOESN'T HAVE ANY. None. Zilch. The only running he has done is running for office, usually unopposed. And yet they're trying to make him the most powerful man in the world. Can someone show me their logic? Because I don't see any.

This week PalinforAmerica.com is hosting the first in a series of "Dear Sarah" supporter video campaigns.

We are calling on Palin supporters from around the country and from all walks of life to send in video recorded messages to show our encouragement, to demonstrate that we stand with her, and that we believe in her. We hope to get several messages before the debate on Thursday night, we will put them all together in one video, and send it off to Sarah. Now this is your chance to let your voice be heard!

Hard Pressed

As we all know, Governor Palin had her first interview with the press. And “press” is the right word for it. Charlie Gibson cut her no slack, which I think is fine, though it should go both directions. (Seems like Obama gets nothing but slack.) I'm just glad she handled everything so well. And she really did. She was composed, forthright, and neatly side-stepped trap after trap while still making her position clear. I have always thought she could handle the VP job, but I wasn't sure she could handle the presidency immediately until I watched that interview. Now I think she could handle anything, yesterday. Glad she's on my side.

Palin is Stellar

Great news! Sarah Palin knocked the lights out last night at the republican national convention. I watched it myself, and she was stellar, my friends. Stellar! This is the first time I've ever wished I could vote twice. So, I'm doing the next best thing and donating money to this campaign. I've never done that before.

It's not because she's a woman, although I think that will be a breath of fresh air. It's not because she gave birth to a special needs child instead of aborting the pregancy, though I find that strongly in her favor as a human being. It's because she presents American values (not Euopean ones) to America with strength, charm, and intelligence.

As governor of Alaska, she has proven that she is pro-tax cuts, pro-domestic energy, pro-national defense, pro-the right to bear arms, against government spending, against government corruption, and that she can actually GET SOMETHING DONE!

She has energized this campaign like no one else could have done. Mitt Romney could not have done what Sarah Palin did last night. Nor could anyone else who was seeking the presidential nomination. She is the woman of the hour. The press has been attacking her relentlessly. Viciously. They're making themselves look bad, and ticking off a lot of people who share various experiences in common with Palin. If Americans don't vote her into office, we are more pathetic than I can say, especially considering the alternative ticket. Blessings on our heads. (Preferably before we vote in November.)

Go, Palin.
